I made a set of handles so we can do some suspension-style training at boot camp this weekend. It's going to be raining from here on in, and I don't like the thought of making the people who show up for a workout have to do push-ups or other exercises down in the mud.
With these straps, we can do push-ups, pull-ups, rows, bicep curls, etc. Because the straps create instability, you get an extra core workout with every exercise you do.
We'll be alternating strap work, kettlebell swings, more tug-of-war, agility exercises, and more. Not to mention some heart-healthy staircase running.
